February's Empowerment Series features Katilyn Mielke.
Did you know that February is Low Vision and retinitis pigmentosa (RP) Awareness month?
Join us in a featured presenation, with Kaitlyn Mielke. In this one hour empowerment session, we will learn about what it means to be Low Vision and RP. Through this presenation we will learn about some of the assumptions people make, and how we can be better community people, employers, co workers, and advocates when discussing inclusion of individiduals who have Low Vision and RP. Come to learn, ask questions and leave with knowledge of a topic we do not often discuss. Empower yourself.
